Our first visit to Wisley

On Saturday on the way home from the Big Bead Show at Sandown Park we still had the whole afternoon to waste so we decided to explore RHS Garden Wisley. (Also the location of this week's Silent Sunday picture!)
My parents have frequented Wisley for years, but it was to be mine and Bug's first time. We headed straight to the restaurant for lunch and I was immediately surprised at how many toddlers were there, and how accommodating they were for families. They had their own family room in the restaurant with even a small soft play bit, where I spied lots of toddlers having fun while their mummies breastfed their baby siblings. The food on offer for children was also very good, enabling you to make up an 'Explorers Lunch box' out of sandwiches, veg sticks, mini cheddars, cakes, grapes, raisins, fruits and a drink. Dyllan ate all but one bit of sandwich so it has his approval. I had a lovely jacket potato with tuna filling, with a small side salad that was so fresh I found an aphid in it. I couldn't decide whether I was pissed off that there was a bug in my salad, or impressed that it was that fresh. I wasn't eating it anyway.

Then it was on to the glass house. Dyllan LOVES glass houses. He's a real heat freak like his mum, I could have lived in there. Enough babbling, let's look at some flowers! Here is my attempt of 'Point, shoot, hope for the best before Dyllan runs into the ponds photography'.
